عَن ابْنِ عَبَّاسِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُما قَالَ: شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ، وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ (ﷺ) نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تُشْرِقَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ .

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas

"Among the pious and righteous persons the one most loved to me, 'Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade offering-(the prayer) after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the ' prayer till the sun sets." [1:555-O.B.]
