80. The Book of (The Punishment For) Those Who Wage War (Against Allah and His Messenger) from the People Who Are Disbelievers and from Those Who Have Turned Renegades (converted from Islam)
مختصر صحيح البخاري
80/1 Chapter:
What punishment may be inflicted on the person so that he may not commit the same sin again, or so that he may learn good manners.
باب: كَم التَّعْزِيرُ وَالْأَدَبُ

Mukhtasar Sahih Al-Bukhariعَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ (ﷺ) يَقُولُ : (لاَ يُجْلَدُ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ جَلَدَاتٍ إِلا في حَدٌ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .
Narrated Burda Al-Ansari
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, Do not flog anyone more than ten stripes except if he is involved in a crime necessitating Allâh's legal punishment." [8:833-O.B]
80/2 Chapter:
Slandering the slaves (accusing them for committing adultery)
باب: قَذْفِ الْعَبِيدِ

Mukhtasar Sahih Al-Bukhariعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِم يَقُولُ : مَنْ قَذَفَ مَمْلُوكَهُ، وَهُوَ بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا قَالَ جُلِدَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ كَمَا قالَ) .
Narrated Abu Huraira
I heard Abul-Qâsim (the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, If somebody slanders his slave (by accusing him for committing adultery) and the slave is free from what he says, he will be flogged on the Day of Resurrection unless the slave is really as he has described him." [8:841-O.B]
